die AIS-Seite von http://www.marinetraffic com auf dem Smartphone ist ein bisschen unhandlich. Der interessante Bereich läßt sich durch ein simples Script in einer html-Seite relativ einfach festlegen und dann ohne Ballast laden.

Diese Seite ist nach folgendem Muster mit einem einfachen Editor geschrieben:

Dieser Code läßt sich direkt auf dem Smartphone als *.html-Seite speichern und von dort mit dem Smartphonebrowser aufrufen.

der Tipp stammt übrigens von http://marinetraffic.com/ais/de/addyour ... vel1=150#7 .
UMTS-Abdeckung ist sicher ein auch vom Anbieter abhängiges Problem: http://www.umts-netzabdeckung.de/.
